About Northwoods Boxers:

First and foremost I want to say we are NOT a puppy mill. We are striving to better the breed and all of our boxers adhere to the standards set by AKC for conformation, beauty and temperament. We constantly get compliments, in person when we go out with our boxer family and by email when people see our site about how beautiful and healthy our boxers look, that is because they are! That did not happen by accident. We researched about the breed and then we took out time in choosing just the right puppies to raise and add to our breeding program. With Bella, we just got lucky we bought her as a pet and her looks and pedigree were just bonuses, we had no intention of breeding but as she weaved her way into my heart and we learned more and more about boxers, I knew that I had to breed our amazing sweetheart she is the perfect representative of the American Boxer dog. She has it all! I broke the news to my husband and he was a little concerned because he knew that we would have a hard time letting them go but he eventually gave in.

All of our boxer babies live inside of our home and this is where we raise our babies as well. They are showered with all of the love and attention that our adult boxers enjoy. They are socialized with people and other animals, and just like our 3 adult boxers they are beloved family member before anything else. Our adult boxers are on heartworm medication, a worming program, flea control and they have regular vet visits and annual vaccines. We also feed premium dog food (Canidae) and they get plenty of exercise and socialization. We have 12 acres in the country with horses, cats and a Maltese. We take our boxers almost everywhere we go and they love riding with us since we almost always stop by either McDonalds and get them a plain cheeseburger or DQ and get them a doggie cup (vanilla ice cream with a Milk bone on top)

In 2008 we had our very first litter, our beautiful Bella gave us 6 beautiful happy healthy babies, 5 girls and a boy. After assisting in their birth and helping Bella care for them everyday for 8 weeks, watching them grow, learn and develop into their own little individuals, I thought my heart was being ripped out each time one of them left our home. A little part of us went with them. All of the puppies were spoken for before they were 8 weeks old and I knew they all had wonderful homes because I interviewed and screened all applicants very carefully. But, I had a huge hole in my heart because I loved and missed them so much. I had gone back and forth with the possibility of future litters as they were growing up under my feet and not until they were gone did I have my answer. I love puppies and boxer puppies are the very best, if I have one litter a year, I can have puppies around to love all the time and I can also share the wonderful and rewarding experience of owning a boxer with other families. My decision was made and I proceeded to put my plan in motion. Bella is of very high quality and she has a fabulous champion filled pedigree, since most of her ancestors are champions, they were tested for hips, hearts, eyes and thyroid, so she comes from very healthy parents. Bella meets all AKC standards and her temperament is the best, she loves everyone and other animals and she adores kids, yet she is protective when she needs to be.

Since Boxers are like potato chips we also decided to add another female to our family so that we could have 2 litters a year, I love the European look and I decided to introduce a beautiful flashy fawn female so that we could have some fawn babies after much searching we found a gorgeous AKC 3/4 European flashy mahogany female, Diva's puppies will be just as spectacular as Bella‘s are and we are so excited about adding her to our family, she has amazing blood lines which even include some international champions! Her lines brag of many impressive Sch, AD, and other working titles. She comes from complete HD tested and Spondylosis tested lines. Along with Bella, these two females will allow us to offer both American and European boxer puppies of the highest quality! We will always strive to offer the most beautiful, healthy, and intelligent puppies that you could ever dream of and we have done a great job so far, please see our testimonials page. Our puppies will have show potential but they will also make perfect pets. This year we added a our own stud dog, a drop dead gorgeous European flashy fawn male with a pedigree that is one of the most impressive you will find in the United States! His father is an international Champion imported from Hungary! Check out his page for all of the details! I am so thankful for the opportunity to have him here in our home, he is a real love sponge and he is the icing on the cake for our breeding program! With each puppy, I send home a puppy pack which will include: A 1 yr genetic health guarantee, important health and training info about boxers, a poison chart, baby pics, shot and worming records and copies of the parents pedigree.
